What is the Forum and why should I join
Czym jest Forum I dlaczego powinienem dolaczyc?

Luton Parent Carer Forum is a parent led organisation set up as part of the Children and Families Act 2014 with the specific aim to involve parents of children with special educational needs and or disabilities to have a real say in shaping services for the future.

We are supported by the national charity Contact a Family and are a part of the National Network of Parent Carer Forums (NNPCF) This enables your views to be fedback regionally and nationally so that good practice is always shared and policies changed.

We work in partnership with Luton Borough Council the NHS and other providers such as the Network of Voluntary Consortia (NVC) to deliver services for children and young people with special educational needs and or disabilities.

Joining this forum and participating by sharing your views, means your personal circumstances help shape the future provision and development of SEND services.

What the Forum means to me

If you care for a child or young adult with additional needs in education, health or social care this Forum is for you. We work to ensure support service providers understand developmental needs so they are better able to deliver the right support to our families at the right times.

With your help this forum has a real impact by ensuring your views, needs and wishes are taken into consideration when policy decisions are made.
